Kepley-Frank’s timber inventories support our 3 sawmills’ annual production
of 20,000,000 board feet of fine Appalachian hardwoods. In addition to
Kepley-Frank's annual production, we process another 12,000,000 to
15,000,000 BF of wholesale lumber per year. |

SAWMILL
|
|
Kepley-Frank produces quality 4/4 - 8/4 Appalachian hardwoods
consisting mainly of Red Oak, White Oak, and Poplar. We also cut
Ash and Maple monthly. Our crosstie mill has 100,000 BF cuttings
consisting of Hickory, Sycamore, Beech, Gum, and Elm crossties
and tie sides. With our 50 bay bin sorter, we can provide
customized sorting and packaging to meet our customers’ needs.

PLANNER MILL
|
|
Kepley-Frank offers 2 shifts of production to ensure on-time shipments to
our customers. We deliver K.D. or A.D. lumber with export preparation
and on-site container loading.

|
LUMBER INVENTORY
|
|
We offer 600,000 BF of fan shed inventory at all times to provide
efficient service to our customers. Kepley-Frank maintains an air
dried yard inventory of 5,000,000 + BF of all species to ensure
back up inventory to our customers.

DRY KILNS
|
Through Jimmy Kepley acquiring Lexington Home Brands’ Plant #2 in
Lexington, N.C. in March, 2006, and reopening the facility as
Linwood Furniture, Inc., Kepley-Frank offers kiln-dried lumber
from Linwood’s eight dry kilns with a total dry kiln capacity of
600,000 board feet per charge.
